The A-Z of Me

I just finished the 80th granny square for my daughter's blanket...now all I have to do it sew it together! My goal was to get it done before I became full term...which is tomorrow;) Hmmm...maybe my new goal can be before I turn 38 weeks?:)

So, since I haven't had much to blog about these days, I thought I would play along with the A-Z list that I have seen on a lot of other blogs lately. Here we go!

A. Age: 25
B. Bed size: Queen...although I would love a king these days:)
C. Chore you hate: Cleaning my wood floors. You all know how I feel about them.
D. Dogs: We can't have any pets where we rent right now...so that's always the answer to my daughter when she asks:) To be honest...I'm not an animal person. Well, I like Dorothy, our goldfish:)
E. Essential start to your day: Cereal. I gotta have my cheerios in the morning!
F. Favorite color: Pink all the way.
G. Gold or silver. Silver...or white gold. No yellow gold...ever.
H. Height: 5'5 (and 1/2)"...and yes....that half inch matters;)
I. Instruments you play: I played clarinet for about 5 years in school. I quit in high school because I couldn't bring myself to wear the marching band uniform. I joined dance team instead. Colorful costumes and glitter eyeshadow was much more appealing:)
J. Job title: Mom...and it's awesome.
K. Kids: One 3 year old daughter (with as much sass as someone 5 times her age) and a little man on the way!...only 3 more weeks!
L. Live: In the southwest. I was born in CA so I'm a west coast girl for life.
M. Mother's name: Liz, but she prefers Elizabeth.
N. Nicknames: None really. Unless you ask my husband....then he might say "sassy"...but I say it takes one to know one:)
O. Overnight hospital stays: Just when I had my daughter. I did spend the night at the hospital a few years ago when my husband had surgery. I'm hospital phobic. I really can't stand being in one. I'm always afraid I'm going to see blood or puke or something random in the halls. I know...real mature;)
P. Pet peeves: Excuses. Be honest and take responsibility for your actions. I know things come up in life that we can't control, but everything can't be everyone elses  fault all the time. Oh...and gum chewing. Ew.
Q. Quote from a movie: "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."-Gone With the Wind. Come on...how many times have you wanted to say that to someone? Just me? I'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones...
R. Right or left handed: Right handed.
S. Siblings: Two older brothers. I never wanted a sister growing up...is that weird? I was just fine not having to share anything and always getting my own room:)
T. Time you wake up: Whenever my daughter does which is between 8 or 9. My husband also gets up with her on the weekends for me. I know...I'm spoiled.
U. Underwear: Way too big these days. I hope to be reunited with my pre pregnancy undies soon! Pulling large ones out of the dryer crushes a girl's soul after a while.
V. Vegetable you hate: I am not a fan of radishes. They could go away.
W. What makes you run late: Um...everything? Either I am 10 minutes early or 10 minutes late. Depends on where I am going and how badly I want to be there:)
X. X-rays you have had: Just at the dentist. Anyone else cry and gag while holding the enormous pieces of plastic in your mouth?
Y. Yummy food that you make: I don't normally like to eat dinner once I am done making it...but Alfredo pesto pasta is one of my favorites. Also, spinach manicotti is on the list now. Steak enchiladas are also one of my husband's favorites. I think he is just happy I know how to cook now. Our first year of marriage was...scary.
Z. Zoo animals: I haven't been to a zoo in quite a while. I'm not a huge fan. I love zebras though. So pretty. I think they know that they are better looking than all the other animals:)

There is some info about me! Whether you wanted it or not:) Now I must go upstairs for the 10th time this hour to see why my daughter is still crying and not sleeping during her afternoon nap.

Have a good day!
