Hi! I'm Melissa. I am a wife, mother, and blogger...but you already know that...since you're on my blog:) I love a good craft, a great vintage find, and an ice cold diet Coke. Mix all three of those...and I'm one happy lady:)
I spend most of my day running after my energetic toddler...that has developed quite the sassy personality in her young three years...but she is my little buddy for sure. We also welcomed our little baby boy in the fall of 2011 and he has completed our family in the most perfect way. Staying home with my kids is my dream job and I feel so blessed that I get to do it every day.
We live in the southwest and I am always the first one to tell my friends that our 110+ degree summers "aren't really that bad". I have grown up within the same neighborhood for most of my life and I consider myself a true city girl. I love the noise, the hustle and bustle, and that nature/bugs are at a distance. Don't get me wrong...I love a good hike or day with the family outside...I just prefer it to be a good drive away:)
I started this blog as a place to chronicle what I have created and hope that it inspires someone else. We currently rent where we live...so a lot of my projects for decor are non permanent.
You won't see any full pictures of my children here. I am way too paranoid to have their image on the Internet. I know that most everyone is way cool and would never do anything weird...but it's that small percentage of crazies that I'm not OK with.
